Madder (rubia tinctoria)

Color: Brilliant red orange to “Turkey Red”

Strike= Medium-slow

Notes: Dissolve extract in warm, NEVER BOILING, water. Strain into dye pot of cool to warm water. Keep dye bath below 175F at all times; higher dye bath temperatures will “brown out” the color.
